Culdesac is committed to making culdesac.com and our property websites (lapalomatempe.com, 1070dill.com, and 1121allene.com) usable by as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technologies such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, and keyboard-only navigation. We build our communities around access to daily life without a car, and we want the same spirit to carry through to our website.

Our standard

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines are published by the World Wide Web Consortium and are the widely used benchmark for accessible web content. Our work toward this standard includes providing text alternatives for images, keeping color contrast readable, making all functions available from a keyboard, using clear headings and page structure, labeling form fields, and making videos and animations pausable.

Ongoing effort

Accessibility is a continuing process rather than a one-time project. We review new pages and features as they are added, periodically test the Site with assistive technology and automated tools, and correct issues as we find them. Some older content and third-party embeds may not yet fully meet our standard, and we are working through those.

Leasing and resident portals

Applications, lease signing, payments, and resident accounts are handled on a platform provided by Entrata, Inc., at prospectportal.culdesac.com and culdesac.residentportal.com (and, for La Paloma, lapalomatempe.prospectportal.com and lapalomatempe.residentportal.com). Entrata publishes its own accessibility statement, linked from the footer of those pages, and maintains those pages' accessibility. If you have difficulty using the Entrata pages, contact us and we will help you complete the task another way, including by phone or in person at the leasing office.
